“Under Cover Farmers…” Cover Crop Video from NRCS ENTC Excellent!

This video is a bit long but if you’re at all interested in cover crops and soil health it’s worth the time. It’s a good general overview of cover cropping systems and what stands out to me is the focus on the “newness” of the cover crop system to the highlighted farmers (especially the diversity concept), dealing with the transition, and the different approach that each producer takes as they set out doing this cover crop… thing.

This needs to spread. I’d like to see interviews and videos like this of farmers and ranchers in semi-arid and arid climates, using the same principles, but different tools and approaches.

Enjoy and learn!
